Caryaire Sand Trap Louvers for fresh air intake are designed to prevent the ingress of sand particles while air intake at low air velocities and to reduce the excessive dust loading on conventional stage filters. It is specially constructed for use in sandy areas to allow clean air intake while draining out the sand particles. It may be supplied with a 25mm thick EU-3 filter as optional with provision for an optional metallic antiinsect
screen. An optional Opposed Blade Damper may be mounted on the back of the Louver with its operating mechanism from the inside of the building.
